Fashionable READS

Books are enjoying quite a fashion moment. Marc Jacobs recently opened Bookmare, a standalone fashion and arts bookstore in New York, and in London, the Louis Vuitton flagship store houses an exquisite librairie of limited edition art books. They have even become fashion, showing up on the red carpet in the form of Olympia Le-Tan's book clutches. Here's my summer reading list.

Summer and the City by Candice Bushnell
Bushnell's sequel to The Carrie Diaries, the prequel to Sex and the City. Follows Carrie Bradshaw as she hits the bright lights of New York for the first time.

The Secret Lives of Dresses by Erin McKean
Dora has not the slightest interest in fashion, but when disaster strikes, she has no choice but to return to her childhood home and take over her grandmother's vintage clothing shop.

A Girl like You by Gemma Burgess

Dolce Vita

Fashion news from Italy!!
Last week, I was in luck in spending my holiday at the italien beaches in Venice and Sirmione. I am sunburnt than ever. All the day, we lay on the sunterrace, swam in the Adritic Sea and had a rest. I spent my best holiday.

BUT this vacation wasn't only about rest. It was an active recreation. During my travel, I kept an eye open. And why? Of course, by reason of FASHION.

Between you and me, I always think that Italy (on the whole) is the european capital of fashion. Yes, I know, there is Paris, London, Madrid - and recently Moscow, but Rome, Milano, Venice ... oh my gosh, they are the fashion's Mecca.

It's hard to believe it's almost fall. But in every shop window, you could discover the new style of the year. In such time, the weather is changing and the fashion is changing a little bit.

When the fall starts we produce knitted clothes, boots, hats ... from bottom of the wardrobe. I really like jeans, leggings, cardigans - with a pair of jeans and a white T-shirt - and in this fall, the great designers love these, too. If you have some knitted cardigans, leather boots or bags, WEAR in this fall.
The look is girlish and romantic.

There is also the bag of the season, the hobo. It seems that the old saying “everything old is new again” pertains to the hobo bag. Hobo bags have never truly gone out of style. And the most fashionable accessories are going to be the scarfs. Determinant color is going to be brown, white, grey and of course black.

Play with any of these fashions. Buy a new tunic and pair it with your favorite jeans and boots. Anything goes. By adding a few new choice pieces to your existing wardrobe you too can have the Romantic-Fall look.
So hope I helped a little bit for you about the fashion of this fall, and you'll like it :)
Enjoy!! XO
